Why standards matter

Standards are a bridge, not a barrier

Every market runs on rules — and the rules that work are written by the people who build the technology. That is where Pontech works: at the tables where international standards are shaped, so the products and systems we integrate arrive compliant, interoperable and ready to sell from day one.

Interoperability before launch

When storage, charging and grid assets speak the same technical language, integration is faster and safer — your system works with the ecosystem, not against it.

Market access as a feature

A product that already meets ISO/IEC, EU WVTA or TÜV requirements is not a hurdle to clear — it is a competitive edge you can bring to market immediately.

Influence where it matters

Being at the table means shaping the rules your products will live by — turning technical depth into a strategic advantage for our partners.

Compliance

Certified for the European market

EU WVTA

Whole-vehicle type approval for electric trucks, including ECE R155/R156 cybersecurity and ADAS safety systems.

TÜV & grid codes

Certification and grid-code compliance for storage, inverters and CHP — supporting local delivery and operation.

Data & GDPR

Data privacy and security built into products and platforms, compliant with European regulation.

Cross-border platform

A Swiss base for China–Europe business

Based in Switzerland, we act as a cross-border platform for European and Chinese companies to enter each other's markets — from product compliance and certification to regional distribution and global project cooperation.

The same standards expertise that advances international rules also accelerates your time-to-market and credibility.

  • European distribution

Regional distribution channels for new-energy products across Europe.

  • Global project cooperation

Cross-border project development and partnership for both directions.

  • Market access

Compliance and standards navigation that clears the path to market.

Why it matters to you

Compliance is a competitive advantage

Standards and certifications turn a good product into one you can sell, ship and support across Europe — faster, with less risk and more credibility.

FAQ

Standards & compliance — frequently asked questions

Which standards bodies does Pontech work with?

Pontech participates in ISO/IEC (including ISO/IEC JTC 1), ITU, CEN/CENELEC, ETSI and UNECE/WP.29, and on the Swiss side with SNV and ElectroSuisse.

Can you help certify my product for the European market?

Yes. We guide products and systems through EU compliance — including EU WVTA whole-vehicle type approval and TÜV certification — and through grid-code compliance for storage, inverters and CHP.

Why does standards participation matter for my project?

Because compliance is a competitive advantage. Products that already meet international and EU standards reach the market faster, integrate and ship more easily, and carry more credibility with customers and regulators.

How do standards help with China–Europe business?

We bridge Chinese Tier-1 supply chains with European market requirements — aligning products to EU standards and regional distribution so they can be sold and supported across Europe.
